An 18-year old faces multiple charges after two auto dealership break-ins in southeast Memphis Monday night. Seven men broke into Gossett Volkswagen Germantown on Winchester Road and one was seen on surveillance video swinging a golf club around the lot. The office was ransacked but no vehicles were taken. An hour later officers responded to a nearby Mazda dealership on Winchester and found the front gate damaged, offices ransacked and five cars missing. A couple of hours later police were called to Plainview Street where six males were walking from vehicles to a house. Tony Miller was found by police hiding in a backyard. He had keys to a stolen Toyota in his pocket and two assault rifles and a stolen handgun were found in the house where the group was seen running to. Miller confessed to stealing the Toyota from the Mazda dealer and was identified as the person swinging the golf club at the Volkswagen dealership. His charges include auto theft, burglary, property theft, unlawful possession of a weapon, vandalism and evading arrest.
