The Rundown

For the second week in a row the Clarksdale Wildcats returned the opening kickoff for a score and cruised to victory, defeating Coahoma County 49-14 on Friday night.  Junior running back Queston Skipper had three touchdowns and senior quarterback Cameron Matthews connected on 9 of 12 passes to lead the Wildcats; senior receiver Markevius Phillips caught two touchdown passes for the Red Panthers.  Clarksdale will face the Gentry Rams next Thursday at home while County goes to Leland next Friday night.
