Marquise Percy played more minutes than anyone else and had 12 points as the Coahoma County Red Panthers defeated Bay Springs 62-46 to win their second straight state 2A basketball championship Friday at Jackson State.  County never trailed and held a double-digit lead throughout the game.  Junior Markevius Phillips had 16 points, freshman Jai'sheldon Yates had 14 points and 12 rebounds and sophomore Bentavious Galmore added 10 points and six rebounds with four assists and four steals to power the win. Three Panthers will graduate this year but the core of the team will return next season.
